‘My Blue French Jug’ is my most recent piece of art heading off soon to the Ashburton Society of Arts 2017 show in late June. Inspired by a favourite blue jug that sits in my kitchen at home with figs that were given to me my my neighbour and feijoas from a talk I gave at a gardening club. Also inspired by the work of Kaffe Fasset with the use of pattern and prints it might well be a new direction for me as I have loved the bright colours and textural elements. Watch this space!
